“Act with Purpose” Competition Winner Announced!

We’re super excited to announce the winner of our recent competition. We asked our awesome team members to tell us what acting with purpose at Sodexo means to them. The responses were really touching and motivating, showing how we can all work towards being safer, healthier, more inclusive and more environmentally friendly.

And the Winner is…

“I have a passion for embracing newcomers that work on my team and provide them with assistance and guidance as they start their journey into the life of a FIFO employee. Everyone started off somewhere and I know it can be challenging, so I just try to be that person that I wish was there for me when I started.

Sodexo has provided me the opportunity to build my own home and form relations with many different people from other contractors, as well as Sodexo, that helped get my family members into the FIFO industry. Currently, have both my children, my mother, my niece, my son in-law and, as of today, a nephew working FIFO. Also, in my work life I have managed to move up from a Housekeeper/Minesite Cleaner to now managing 6 sites. Sodexo has equipped me with necessary skills and knowledge to be able to move up to where I currently am, and for that I will be forever grateful.”
