A Clean Sweep for Stephanie Walsh, Cleaning Operations Cert III
Steph quickly became an integral part of our operations when she joined the Sodexo team in 2014, bringing with her a significant background in commercial cleaning, with expertise working in hospitals and cafes. Today, she is not just performing tasks; she is elevating standards at the mine site while also meticulously maintaining client offices, crib rooms, ablutions, as well as the village’s gym, laundries, and training rooms.
Dedicated to her profession, Steph is currently undertaking Nationally accredited training Certificate III Cleaning Operations as part of Sodexo’s traineeship program. Our partner Registered Training Organisation (RTO), SWC conducts monthly on-the-job assessments while Steph is at site.
By doing an on-the-job traineeship, not only are you developing valuable, hands-on experience in your industry – you’re getting paid for all your efforts, too. At Sodexo, we support employee development and growth, helping you build new skills and reach your personal goals.
“Steph Walsh is a valued staff member in the Labona family. Her reliability and industrious nature are the glue that holds the mine site team together. Her infectious positivity and can-do attitude are felt by everyone in the team.” says Zac Phillips, Senior Village Manager.
