Frontline Employee Training Programs
Sodexo Onboarding Training Centre (OTC) – This program prepares new starters for their role with essential information about Sodexo culture, safety, and site essentials.
Housekeeping Readiness Program – This program prepares team members with hands-on training on key cleaning Standards Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Sodexo visual standards.
Chef Centre of Excellence – This program educates catering team members on Sodexo food safety, visual standards, and essential kitchen procedures.
New Employee Passport – This guide supports new employees through their onboarding journey with checklists to ensure employees receive the key site-specific and safety information they need to know while living and working on-site.
Buddy Program (only available at some sites) – This program pairs up new team members with a buddy during their first swing to ensure they have a positive onboarding experience.
Service Excellence Program – This program includes a series of discussion-based modules focused on helping service teams provide the best customer experience.
Supervisor Training Programs
Fundamentals: HSE – This program covers essential HSE processes and procedures that site leaders need to follow to create and sustain a strong safety culture and comply with Sodexo standards. Topics include running effective pre-starts, incident reporting and investigation, injury management, and Leadership in the Field.
Fundamentals: Performance Leadership – This program explores some of the tools, strategies, and support networks that site leaders can employ along with leadership skills to manage performance and develop their teams effectively. Topics include Sodexo Just Culture Framework, giving feedback, and HR Advisory.
BOLT (Building Operational Leadership Talent) – This program is tailored to the needs of operational supervisors as a foundation for personal growth and effective leadership. The program combines theoretical knowledge and practical application of skills through group participation and scenario training.
Zero Harm Mindset Leadership Workshop – This workshop assists Sodexo leaders understand our mature safety culture and commit to helping teams shift to a Zero Harm Mindset.
Injury Management Training – This session is designed to acquire competency in the management of work-related and non-work-related injuries or illnesses. Refresher training is recommended every two years.
Bystander Action Training – This workshop focuses on how to safely and effectively respond to gendered violence and sexism within the workplace and community.
Unleash – A playlist of eLearning modules focused on key leadership skills and principles.
Manager Training Programs
Fundamentals: HSE – This program covers essential HSE processes and procedures that site leaders need to follow to create and sustain a strong safety culture and comply with Sodexo standards. Topics include running effective pre-starts, incident reporting and investigation, injury management, and Leadership in the Field.

Finance Fundamentals – This program provides a comprehensive understanding of profit and loss reports, budgets, forecasts, key ratios, and preventative and corrective actions to manage sites’ financial performance.
Mental Health First Aid Training – This course aims to create a level of knowledge and capability for managers to attend to a person in mental distress.
Spirit of Inclusion – This workshop challenges the stereotypes and unconscious biases that act as obstacles to inclusion.
On-Site Managers Academy (OSMA) – Sodexo’s dedicated global learning program for site managers. This online portal offers access to personalised playlists to support personal growth and enhance on-site performance.
