Our energetic foursome includes: Jeff Burns (IS&T), Remy (IS&T), Georgia (HR) and Angela James (Eye & Ear Hospital). We thrive on challenge – something the Oxfam Trail is guaranteed to provide. The physical and mental challenge of completing the Oxfam 100km walk will stretch us to the limit and may even break us. We are excited to be part of the Oxfam Charity.
By participating in the Oxfam Trail walk, we hope to raise $2,500 to provide funds that will assist others less fortunate to actively contribute to their local communities. We would like to call on our friends, family and colleagues to pledge your support for us in this challenge. If you would like to support our team, please donate by using the link below.
You can be involved in this fantastic event without having to complete the 100km walk. If you would like to join our support crew (an extension of our team) and are free to meet us along the way at one or two checkpoints that would be fantastic. The hardest legs we will need the most support (mental and physical) are at Checkpoints 3 (Mount Evelyn), 4 (Olinda) and 5 (Dandenong ranges) on Friday Night and Saturday morning. We plan to complete the walk on Saturday afternoon/evening and if you want to be part of the welcoming/celebration party please let us know as we would love a big crowd at the finishing point.
And remember … go hard or go home!
