Masterclass in Breaducation

Some of our site managers, chefs and various support centre staff members recently attended a bread baking masterclass at Brasserie, an award winning bakery and premium supplier of Sodexo’s corporate clients. The team got a crash course in ‘Breaducation’ with a tour of the facilities, and a three-hour bread baking workshop to learn about the essence of artisan baking with the experts.
Brasserie uses only single origin wheat from the renowned wheat growing districts of the Southern Flinders Ranges in South Australia and the Gwydir Shire in New South Wales, working with skilled local farmers. The team also learned that Brasserie Bread works with OzHarvest to create a sustainable food culture and tackle food waste.
