Farewell Lyn! Happy Retirement
28 April 2019
It is with mixed emotion that I announce Lynette Hull will retire this month after more two decades of dedicated service with one of our NSW Healthcare sites. Lyn has been with the same client and Sodexo for a combined 21 years across two sites. She will be sorely missed by the on-site teams, the client as well as the residents whom she has closely connected with over the years.
Lyn commenced with Storm Retirement Village in the northern NSW country town of Taree. She was in a number of care services roles including activity officer and as a cook. While at Storm, Lyn assisted in the design and fit out of a kitchen at the newly built aged care facility, Bishop Tyrrell Place in Cundletown. Lyn transferred to Bishop Tyrrell Place as the relief chef and 2IC, and promoted to Chef Manager in 2015 where she managed catering, cleaning and laundry services for 75 residents.
Lyn is very well regarded by the residents, client and her peers. She has been recognised for her passionate and personal approach to catering and caring for the residents, she was even featured in a few news articles. Always going the extra mile to make a meal or service experience special, Lyn truly portrays Sodexo’s values of Service Spirit and Team Spirit in improving the quality of life of others.
We wish Lyn the very best and safe travels as she embarks on her next adventure, enjoying retirement touring Australia in her caravan!
