Our latest Chef Apprentice
Ryan Shewan has completed his Chef Apprenticeship after starting at Yandicoogina as a ktichen hand in 2010.
Under the guidance of Grant Hindle and Clinton Adams-Godfrey, Ryan started his apprenticeship in 2012 during which time has excelled in his role and on a daily basis. He leads the team at Yandicoogina to achieve the quality service they are known for.
Ryan has become a real asset not only to the Yandi kitchen, but to Sodexo as well. He has also taken it upon himself to be an ambassador for the new Lean Path Wastage System, an initiative that has been rolled out across the Rio Tinto Portfolio. Ryan trains all new staff upon entry into the Yandicoogina kitchen of how the system works.
