Be Seen in 2017 Career Expo with Campbell Page
As a responsible employer, Sodexo is committed to developing a diverse and inclusive talent pool, creating opportunities for those seeking or returning to work under challenging circumstances. We believe that all people of all abilities have the potential to thrive in the right environment through meaningful employment.
On 6th April, our recruitment team attended the very first Be Seen in 2017 Career Expo to meet with potential candidates from Campbell Page, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to transforming lives through securing long-term employment.
“The secret to the success of our Career Expo is having on board employers who are aligned with our social inclusion and diversity principles.” – Cassandra Warin, National Disability Employer Partnership Manager
Over 18 employers held stalls at the Be Seen in 2017 Career Expo, with over 102 Campbell Page customers turning up on the day, resume in hand, to interview with potential employers. Of the 102 participants in attendance at the Career Expo, 6 connected with Sodexo Australia to the final stages of interviewing. We wish the new applicants the best of luck in the interview process and potential future with Sodexo.
Sodexo has committed that 100% of their workforce will have access to their programs for people with disabilities by 2025. “This means that in every country where Sodexo operates, we will actively work to put in place initiatives and programs that recruit, engage and develop people with disabilities, within the parameters of regional laws and policies over the next 10 years,” said Dr. Rohini Anand, Senior Vice President, Corporate Responsibility and Global Chief Diversity Officer, Sodexo.
