Sodexo celebrates first year anniversary at DeGrussa
On Thursday the 6th September 2018, Sodexo hosted a 1st year anniversary celebration at DeGrussa Minesite. Since mobilising a year ago, the team has worked hard to create a welcoming ‘home away from home’ for camp residents.
On the night of the anniversary function, residents enjoyed a gourmet seafood buffet with other favourite dishes made by special request in the weeks prior to the event. The catering team went above and beyond with their function menu, creative displays and fruit carvings. …And what’s a celebration without cake? Sodexo’s talented resident pastry chef topped off the dinner with a selection of cakes and homemade desserts. The live entertainment along with the red and blue Sodexo-themed dining room and Tavern was a huge hit with everyone.
“Under the leadership of Village Manager, Tristan Allen & Assistant Village Manager, Jackie Keatch, the team has gone from strength to strength. The client has commented time and again that the operation consistently runs like clockwork. Working alongside a client that shares the same values as Sodexo has driven us to exceed their expectations but also heighten our own. The entire Sodexo team should be very proud of the tight-knit team they have developed and the close relationship with the client and customers they’ve built over the past year.” – Craig Fennell, Operations Manager
Congratulations to the Sodexo team at DeGrussa who bring Quality of Life to site every day. We look forward to seeing what the next 12 months brings!
