Pannawonica teams create fine dining experience
10 August 2017
An annual VIP Long Service Awards Dinner was held in Pannawonica recently to recognise some of our client’s longest serving employees -celebrating from 5 to 25 years of service.
The Sodexo Pannawonica teams from all departments came together to ensure the night was a success, showing much adaptability and flexibility in transforming the Tavern space into an elegant, fine dining atmosphere. The service team included supermarket staff, cleaners, and admin staff, along with the chefs and tavern team, who all chipped in with planning, setting up, catering and cleaning for the event. All the odd jobs, décor, and last minute details that are involved with planning a large event wouldn’t have been possible without the creative and versatile skills of the team.
“The success of this event can be attributed to the commitment and seamless team work across planning and execution of the event. We had contribution from across our Panna team and I could not be more impressed with their professionalism and team work”. Sally Ryan, Assistant Village Manager – Pannawonica
The event was a great success and enjoyed by everyone in attendance. Chefs Jose and Eddie executed a 3 course meal professionally to a 5 star standard, and Pastry Chef Sarah and baker Vicki, served up much talked about cakes and desserts!
“The team worked tirelessly in the lead up to the event and indeed throughout the night to ensure it was a complete success. The client feedback has been incredible, which not only demonstrates the individual skills but the integration of the collective service offering. Well done team and thank you!” Luke Lilburn, Operations Manager – Coastal & Pannawonica Regions

On behalf of our RTIO Robe Valley General Managers, long service recipients and their guests – thanks so much to the Sodexo team led by Sally and Jess for the beautiful set up of the Pannawonica Tavern restaurant for our residential long service dinner last Saturday night. It was an amazing transformation and created a fine dining and elegant atmosphere for all our guests.
Our thanks to Leisa and the wait staff, the service was excellent and staff friendly and helpful; to Jose the Executive Chef and his team – the meals were amazing and enjoyed by everyone.
Also to Vicki for the long service recipient cakes and the cupcakes – beautifully decorated and so tasty. Marg Landon, Management support officer – Robe Valley Rio Tinto
