Sodexo recognised for great work at Brisbane Girls Grammar School

9 August 2017

Congratulations to the team at Brisbane Girls Grammar School, who were finalists for Best Industrial / Institutional Caterer of the Year at the recent Restaurant and Catering Association Savour Awards in Brisbane.

The Savour Awards gala event took place on July 17 at the Royal International Convention Centre in Brisbane. Although BGGS didn’t take home the award this year, this is the second year in a row that the team has been recognised as a finalist in this category.

“The team at Brisbane Girls Grammar have worked extremely hard to produce consistent catering at the highest standard, and have become a real hub within the school’s community. I would also like to commend head chef Andrew Parker and events co-ordinator Ashleigh Warfield for their continuous hard work and proficiency.” – Scott Aubrey, Catering Manager – Brisbane Girls Grammar School.

Brisbane Girls Grammar is one Queensland’s top private schools, and the Sodexo team on site is certainly of the same calibre. They have been recognised for their hard work, service excellence, and service spirit at the Excellence Awards as well as the Savour award finals this year. Their outstanding teamwork and continuous improvement to the school café and canteen has not gone unnoticed.

The Restaurant & Catering Awards for Excellence program provides deserved recognition to restaurants and caterers that excel in their field. The Savour Australia Hostplus Awards for Excellence is a nationally recognised, independently judged awards program that recognises exceptional service and culinary talent across Australia.
