Travis commenced employment with Sodexo in 2013, as an aspiring Electrical Apprentice with the Sodexo maintenance team at Acacia prison. Sodexo management quickly recognised Travis’s outstanding work ethic and commitment to professional development. Shortly thereafter, Sodexo invested in Travis’s development, by entering into an Australian Apprenticeship contract. Travis worked and trained under the expert supervision of Sodexo’s Acacia Prison maintenance team, including Manager Ian Harwood and qualified HVAC Technician Christian Clowes. During this time, Travis gained significant workplace experience across all facets of Electrotechnology, and completed his workplace competencies well under time. Theoretical training was delivered by South Metropolitan Tafe, where Travis attended day release tuition.
In June 2016, Travis successfully completed all workplace competencies and together with completion of the Certificate award, was awarded his full trade qualification by WA Apprenticentre.
Please join us in congratulating Travis, as he continues on with Sodexo as a fully qualified Electrician.
